Currently, Onboarding is a key and principal tool in any missioned
and planned organization. Moreover, the development of technology, innovation,
and creativity has increased the necessity and application of Onboarding more
than before. New employees need new skills and knowledge to suit new
organizational culture and technology. Likewise, socialization and friendly
cooperation is more vital to fulfill this. Furthermore, every organization
today needs to have a new model, style, and approach to undergo onboarding
depending on their environment and technology. A new employee may need only a
few basic important things in their first onboarding such us socialization,
responsibility, and care this will motivate them to apply these skills for the
betterment of the organization but later they will need a good salary,
training, technology among other. However, onboarding today has dynamic
approaches in passing skills to new employees.
All in all, Onboarding, is also referred as organizational socialization, it is
a management verbiage initial created in the 1970s that refers to the mechanism
through which new employees acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and
behaviors in order to become effective organizational followers and insider.
